There's more to Ryan Lochte than Olympic gold. Behind the rock-hard abs and American flag grill there is a sensitive, intelligent and surprisingly philosophical 27-year-old.
In a recent interview with Women's Health magazine, Lochte shared with us his caring side. When asked what women "look hottest in," he replied" One of my long-sleeve button-down shirts and that's all. The second sexiest thing: white jeans." Spoken like a true feminist.
Lochte is unique in that he won't let his new status as an sex symbol get to his head. As Jezebel points out, Lochte is undeniably handsome and has the kind of charming personality that any parent would want their daugher to bring home.
But he isn't just interested in women's rights. Lochte has also taken a particular shine to the science of linguistics. He has not only mastered the Enlgish language, but he has also added a few shining jewels of modern word. His most notable contribution is "JEAH," which is just like "yeah," only "spicier." It is derived from a similar use of the term by Young Jeezy, a true American poet.
Lochte uses "JEAH" to discuss a variety of interesting topics, from the trouble in the global economy to what he had for dinner last night. But don't think that Lochte is an elitist philosopher. He often shares his wisdom with the adoring public through his tweets.
